Fish is a good idea too. I do mine in the oven in foil parcels with lemon juice and herbs. No butter just let in cook in its own juice yum
Yep, fish...
Long and controversial affair I've had with them. I came to hate salmon and cod, but love sea-bass, hering and pollock/merlucius, plus any other sea food.
Oh, and anchovies by the bucket;-)
BTW your oven recipe is still the best to cook fish
Actually I wanted to try today pollock dusted with gram flour and fried in pan. Has anyone tried gram flour as a substitute for cereal flours?
Take care Lou

Morning. A more than acceptable 4.2 this morning after chinese for an early dinner yesterday. I was quite good, bar a couple of chicken balls, though and only had a teeny bit of rice but lots of chicken and beanshoots.

A dollop of marmite has just dropped down my white top that ive been wearing for all of 10 minutes. How annoying!

Happy Birthday @Alzebra

A dollop?
You must love marmite;-)

5.2 this morning after a panic attack yesterday sent my BG haywire.
End of term at last, and I'm experimenting with some LCHF baking today cos it's my birthday

Edit: It's also day 100 of LCHF for me and I've lost exactly 3 stone (42lbs)!

Many reasons to be cheerful then.

Happy birthday.

Yep gram flour is OK so is oatmeal

Sorry to deviate from the thread purpose, but have you looked to see what 19.5kg (3st) looks like in bags of potatoes, in the supermarket? I didn't have masses of weight to lose, but I could never imagine carrying "that" around 24/7, when it got beyond a couple of bags of sugar.

Well done.

I have to have my daily dose or I get withdrawals. That's why I could never go carb free. What would I out it on if not toast, crackers or crumpets?
Have you tried GF bread?
If I keep to no more than 3 slices a day, it works fine, but I have to cut all other carbs for the day;-)
Yep, we are Marmite addicts too:-D

A few weeks ago when I lost my first stone, I posted a pic with one stone worth of lard, piled up on a supermarket shelf. It was scarry...
Well done, indeed

No, I just buy the lowest carb bread I see when I'm shopping. I knock back all the other carbs so im doing lowish carbs, 50-70 a say. Its helped my bs levels a treat, that and the competitive side of me not wanting to be bottom of the class in here when reporting my readings. I'm still waiting for the promised weight loss though.

Moshe, its best to test with just one macine, the trend is whats most important ,not the absolute value.

Happy returns of the day to you,@Alzebra, and many congratulations on your success with LCHF

Morning troops

6.5 fasting. Hopefully that's the top now.

Have a great birthday @Alzebra might have to have a drink in virtual celebration later.

And hope you have a good parkrun @Merrylizard1314. Yes up for round 2. Been a disappointing week for me diet and exercise wise and am pretty sure that I will have put back on most of the ff weight loss. Plus have not been on any substantial runs just a couple of beach strolls with the dog and walks to/from work in Cockney town.

Def August then. Will have to plan meet up with lou, Croc and clive. Sounds like it is heading for a Chinese or knitting circle making tea/wine cosy's. So can't see that being ff friendly.

Nice bright start to the day down here in saga central. Have a good one.
