Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Morning everyone, happy 1st of October... :-/
5.6 this late morning, after a 5.5 before bed, FOLLOWED by a late -after a 13 hour shift...- supper ;-)
Looking fwd to an afternoon shift, have a better day

Had a exhausting but enjoyable day at Dudley zoo with the grandchildren yesterday, we finished off the day with fish & chips which explains the higher levels this morning.
At the moment I am watching my little pony instead of my normal news program

The sun is back and so is the Internet.

It's unusual to lose the former down here at this time of year , the latter, not so much.

Something to do with Spanish lectric I think. ...

8.0 fasting. So much for a weekend off. Already done some work more to do. Not liking being above 7 fasting. Let's see how next week goes.
 
Morning. I actually had a lie in for once today and slept till 10.30. A great nights sleep has led me to a record breaking 3.8 (teated twice cos I couldn't believe it the first time).

28 years ago today I met my husband. I'll remind himof thar later cois I bet he'll forget.

Blood Glucose 5.7 mmol / L
Blood Ketones 1.1 mmol / L <-- Liking this!

Before bed:
Blood Glucose 5.3 mmol / L
Blood Ketones 0.3 mmol / L


This Morning:
Blood Glucose 6.5 mmol / L
Blood Ketones 0.7 mmol / L <-- Not as good as yesterday but, OK.

Before bed:
Blood Glucose 5.9 mmol / L
Blood Ketones 0.4 mmol / L
