Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Hi..google 'dawn phenomenon' 'liver dump' and 'insulin resistance' for why you are higher of a morning.
but 5.7 isn't too bad when <5.5 is normal

Exactly the same for me Mandingo!! 4.9 at bed and 5.7 this morning!! I may just try a little snack at bedtime to try and prevent DP !!

3.6 for me this morning, so at the lower end of my personal range. That's fine.
Today, I must, must make progress with an issue I encountered (or read another way, I created) yesterday with our home network. Somehow, I appear to have disabled remote access, which is inconvenient. I have no idea how I did that. I haven't meddled with either the NAS or router settings, and port forwarding still words for other things. It was a little inconvenient last night as my OH wanted to source something. Hopefully it will be resolved today, or I'll be looking for a medium for large file transfers for the shorter term!
I'll also be going out for coffee later this morning. It's the The World's Biggest Coffee Morning, that MacMillan Cancer Support do every year. Any of us who have experienced the fabulous work of MacMillan, will understand how important it is. You may be able to find one near you:

I have my HbA1c and cholesterol test this morning so I am fasting until I get back. Water never tasted so good! I also have my flu jab straight afterwards. Wish me luck.
Probably a bit stressed about it. I can feel the adrenalin now.

Could you test as the phlebotomist is prepping your tubes? That would give you a fab comparison; venous versus finger-prick score, and a semi-calibration of your meter?

reading most of the night again bs at 3.15 am 7 so thought id trick the fairies and had some sugarfree jelly. bs at 7.30 8 little monsters in at 9 am it was 9!! give up obviously they can only get me the 6 nights I dont take sleepers
