went to bed on 5.9 up at 7.7 yay fairies off somewhere else last night??

What were they before your holiday? What are your levels like at other times?
They were around 11 but now struggling to get below 13.
Also I have very little appetite and when I do eat I feel sick. Not sure why but think I should get a review.

3.8 for me again this morning. This is a real run of low readings for me, which is obviously just fine; bearing in mind how generally well I feel and that my weight also appears to have settled.

In a couple of weeks, I will have been diagnosed 12 months. Where did the time go? Well, I know the answer to that and the answer is it has flown! Whilst the diabetes diagnosis was a bolt out of the blue for me, and very inconvenient, it hasn't impaired my overall enjoyment of the adventure which has been the last year.

Lawns for me later, provided the weather holds. Play nicely boys and girls.

5.7, not bad at the moment. BMI now dropped under 25, maybe need to put the brakes on a bit!

If, as your signature suggests, you only have 2kg to go to reach your target, I would suggest you start adopting your stabilisation plan asap. It took a long time for me to get there, and I'm actually rather skinny now, at 49kg/under 8st, but I won't be trying to gain anything for now!

I think we all think it'll be easy to stop the loss, but I think others have found the same as I did.

Have you decided on your tactics?

Not really, other than a general notion of upping my protein and fat calorie intake ...

5.7 today my lowest reading since I was diagnosed in May so a very happy bunny today

Bed at 5.3. Woke up 9.1
Hi, I turned back on my 'see signature' in settings and saw you're on Levemir,
Have you asked your nurse about increasing the night dose, or do you hypo to try and get lower of a morning?
are you on 2000 met? that might help the morning too

5.2 this morning.......went to bed on 5.2 also, had a piece of cheese last night. For the last two and a,half weeks I'm not even going into the 6's during the day, must be doing something right!

gave up on sleep wind and rain keeping me from rest 9.7!

13.1 this morning. To be honest I keep forgetting to take my evening dose of Gliclazide and it's obvious that my levels are coming down so I really have to remember. I am supposed to take two 80mg tablets with breakfast which is fine, I take that along side my statin and everything else, but the tea time one I forget. I will take it later with some supper but I think that makes my two doses too close together.

Either way, I have had readings in single figures for the first time in 6 months and that is awesome!!

Hi @jack412...while I was away from forum my readings got so much better as id lost 3 stone and I stopped needing insulin. Although I've kept the weight off .my eating habits slowly got worse until my DN wanted me to go back on insulin...I'm trying lchf first. Yes I've got the go ahead to raise my metformin and with the help of you all on here I may just swing it. I tried low carb about 3 years ago. But not the lchf I'm doing now...got my daytime readings down a treat. My fastings I'm struggling with
