6 this morning. I'm not surprised as I had a night of worst anxiety I've had for ages. Still feel shocking now. I did wonder if if had a hypo during night but tested at 4.45 and I was 6.2. I guess I may have missed it and have been on way up again by the time I woke up properly enough to test.
Last night's preprandial read 5.0, then had pan-fried trout fillet and some sprouts followed by my usual berries & cream, at + 2 hours I read 7.1, 8.4 (!), 6.8 and 6.8. I'm concluding that maybe the 5.0 was a lowish outlier, but not far out, because I would not normally get a spike of around 2 with a meal like that. I ignored the 8.4 as a wild outlier on the meter (? 7.0 + 20%) and averaged the other three to get 6.9.
At bedtime I was 5.5, which was also my reading this morning.

Poor you. I can't imagine how awful it must be. I hope you are feeling much better now.
I do like your logic, Rod!
I intent to stick to the lower dose for about two weeks and reassess then.I have no personal experience of any drugs, but I'm wondering if you're experiencing a variation on the enzyme lag "we" can see when we increased carbs? In other words, give it a few days, at least, to give your body a chance to catch up with the new regime.
Sorry to hear you had such a rough night. Is this anxiety about something in particular or one of those annoying can't settle down and feel worried for no reason feelings we sometimes get.6 this morning. Both elevate glucose as the body thinks it's needed for quick burst of energy.Definately. Cortisol and adrenaline. Tends to hang around the body in some people for far too long. .fight or flight syndrome. Its beastly is anxiety
