I second all that.... You always know the right thing to say Sable dear heart....It does get really hard at times. When you've tested out your meals a few times and found what is ok for you do you write them down? That way you'll always have a record of what you can eat without thinking too much about it. If you can keep a store cupboard of ingredients that will make some of these foods quickly that can help too. If you like frittata they are quick and easy to make .... most of the ingredients I use are in the freezer (frozen veggies) eggs and cheese always in the fridge..... omelettes are quick and easy to make too - cheese and mushroom for example... If you bake try some of the low carb recipes out @Brunneria posted a lovely cake recipe and a VERY quick chia seed chocolate pudding...

You may need to eat more often, or - I can't remember if you are on meds - have your medication adjustedSee that another think that I don't understand about this diabetic malarkey if I get a reading under 4 I have the shakes and can't concentrate , I've always been like this when hungry ...well since my teens and certainly not diabetic ..maybe I just have a panicky body no food for a few hrs and my hands shake lol
5.2 this morning - was expecting higher as I had 2 squares of Lindt Orange and Almond Chocolate at 10.00 last night!
Will look out for someNut butter... almond butter; peanut butter; hazelnut butter... lush... but full of calories mind...
