5.9 again!! However Sussed yesterday and today's higher readings. Prepared my strawberry and blueberry lunch and did no wash my hands. Had a good scrub, re tested 5.2! That's better, a couple of times now I have been caught out not washing hands prior to testing

6.2! Back to normal now after heat. Spent all of July and August sitting in the 7s range ang higher in the day. Thought I wasn't tolerating pulses and beans but had bean bake and went to 7 immediately and was 6 within an hour. Obviously the heat! :banghead:

Trying to get on top of this DP. Tested at 3am when I woke for the bathroom - 6.7.
Still awake at 4am with a dull ache in my lower back that I've had all week so tested again - 7.6!

at 5am - its 8.2.:banghead:

Edit: at 6am - 7.6

@Brunneria's thread made really interesting reading and I do remember it the first time round, but at that time I was hopeful that my fasting bs would reduce in time. Still waiting.....
Stress or illness can make it rise! :(

Brilliant @Scandichic Are you sure it isn't just that you are happy being back at work? :p x

6.2 today and had oats for supper not my favourite but oh well

Yesterday I woke up and went to bed on 5.3 (with a few lumps and bumps in the middle) :)
This morning 5.7

Yesterday my new Codefree arrived so I have been testing it out against my Accu-chek Mobile and double testing each time. I am pleased to announce that once I got the hang of how to use the Codefree (very different from the Accu chek) the results were consistent. Highest discrepancy was 0.5 but the rest all very similar. I now feel confident to switch over once current cassettes are used up.

6.2 here, so-so.

wish it would stay down there but it goes up and down like a yoyo... anyways MUST keep trying

3.7 for me today, so towards the lower end of my comfort zone.

Yesterday I was glad to get my retinopathy screening out of the way. Of course, I have to wait for the results, but at least it's done. My eyes were pretty sensitive afterwards, so I was pleased I had remembered to take my shade with me. The trip on the bus was interesting, being faster than I thought it would be, and with free wifi on board. It's funny what you overhear on trips like that. On the way to the hospital, the two chaps behind me were having a deep conversation, which included one of them telling the other how careful he had to be with his diet, due to his T2. Suffice to say he wasn't a committed low-carber, or his choices in the curry house the night before might have been a little different"

After my test, I wandered into the city centre and came close to doing some financial damage in one of my favourite shops. But, I couldn't be bothered with all that trying on malarkey when I hadn't planned it. So, my pocket money is saved for another day!

Enjoy your evening campers.
