Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Hi colleagues, one of the things I had stopped taking to help reduce my numbers was my daily home made juice of carrot, apply and celery. I usually take this as a thirst quencher after my 40 minute walk each morning. Having reviewed the numbers they aren't that much different whether I have it or not. Indeed today after my walk I was at 5.3. When I had my full glass of drink 1 hour and 15 minutes later it went up to 5.8. I can live with that. I know carrots and apple are all sugar. I do counter it with half a glass of bitter Gourd which maybe helps to reduce the sugar level. Any thoughts?

Nothing I haven't had before. I've been scratching my head and just getting lots of splinters. Putting it down to a one of those things readings. Next test at 12:30. I'm not going to worry over it (yet)
Ok.here we go..12:30 and it's.....
4.9. Time for lunch.

6.2 this morning even though had some rice and lamb curry (big meal !).

And didn't go for my usual walk either.

Happy Days :-)
Was your post prandial as good? Having a bean chilli with rice for lunch. Home made "ready meal". Will test to see how it goes.

No breakfast today. Only tested at 12:30. Going for a walk to the shops for the veg for tea. Feels like penance for being a bad Nuthead.

Been on a real diabetic downer this last few days, but remained on target (ish) for carbs, so haven't bothered monitoring. Maybe the weather being so cold I don't know. But anyway I tested this morning for 6.2, which isn't too shabby.
Not too shabby at all - and welcome to the madhouse/forum/thread ;):)

I'm stumbling around like a bloomin old lady but at least my bgs are starting to behave better
An ms suffer neighbour of my friend takes LDN - low dose something or other. He swears by it. Some docs will prescribe, some not as is not specifically for ms. Mayb bit of research?

Rather disappointing 6.5 about an hour after getting up. I did have half a tomato left over from making my daughter's pack lunch and a sucralose sweetened espresso beforehand :)

Last night I had my first reasonably normal roast dinner for a while and was 5.5 before and 8.8 2 hours after.

More work to be done methinks.
Consider amounts of roasted root veggies AND don't forget abt the gravy.....

Thanks. I've had MS for 20 years now and tried many types of medication..I respond best of all to high 5 day course of steriods when I have a bad relaspe..its a pain but not as bad as it was when I was a young mum...I rest up when I need to now.
And nobody invited Diabetes to the party!! Lol
