People are waking up while I'm getting ready for bed. I guess I'm a few time zones away.
I plumped for Montreal as a guess - 5 hrs behind UK but we've also an Australian or two - though its my morning at 9:00 am its 8pm in Melbourne

8.5 but ate loads of roast and mashed potatoes last night and a few sneaky chocs later on.
First diabetic clinic appt next Tuesday so hoping for the best.

A 4.5 for me, which is at the higher end on my usual band. Last night, after dinner, I was also a little higher than usual (although still within non-diabetic levels), so unsure if something's going on, or if it's just one of those things. Until it proves itself, it's "one of those things, on Planet Breathe".

Have a good day everyone, but wrap up well if you're going out. It's still white out there! (Only frost, not snow.)

5.6 for me despite feeling cr*p. @allover - hope the measles don't get too bad (hope its not allergic reaction to something )

@allibee NOT allover  New phone....

5.4 at bedtime
5.9 this morning
.... and two sleeps MEL time to your birthday BT :)

I'll get to cheer you on B4 anyone else can :)

No test for me this morning (forgot) must be an age thing lol.

However back to work today. Will test when I get home.

New Year is ever nearing, have a good day all.

5.8 this morning, after a 4.9 preprandial and 5.1 after two hours last night (baked trout and salad) which I think is a record post-meal for me - usual accuracy provisions apply.

4.8 this morning. Had my review with the GP. No change in medication and he wasn't too keen on the self testing even though i argued the point that after my recent eye scare it would seem to be a prudent thing to do. His argument was based on my HbA1c of 49 (6.6) being very good. I argued that in light of my recent eye episode I need to be at 42 (6.0). No chance of getting any strips on prescription.

When will these doctors learn.

7.2 this morning, had a lot to eat last night and a drink (vodka with diet coke) !

Quite pleased with the result :-)

6 today. And finally plucked up courage to mention aches and pains to GP- swapping to slow release Metformin as it could be lactic acid- I suspect I also have shingles as I have a rash along waist and under bra that hurts like mad ( like when I had shingles once before) but he didn't seem that fussed about it. Hope you feel better Allibee as itching is a nightmare....xxx
