Thanks it was german measles so not as bad thankfully

I had measles as a child too and still remember how ill I was. God. I had to wear sunglasses for a month as I got eye complications

ok not happy today with my BS that is.

4.8 bedtime
7.2 fasting
9.0 before breakfast.... even with my creamy coffee on the way to work

Mayb a slightly carby snack on the way instead so the liver doesn't think you need help?

Have a bite to eat quickly before you do the dogs .... may be a piece of toast. Might take the headache away. Hope it goes. Take care.

In the end I did. A small piece of scone, not the ideal but it was handy. Pre lunch was 6.4 but low carb meal so will no doubt be lower post.

If I wasn't on insulin I reckon I would test a lot less frequently, I find it a nuisance but it has taught me a lot on how foods react on me...

It's good that you do test frequently . Can be a bit if a pain but has shown me its worth it getting that HbA1c of 39. Going to test soon as I've had some sugar free chocolate while I've been out. Should have done a clean "dry run" just on the chocolate whilst I was home first really. I shall do a proper test tomo - good excuse for another bar - or half bar
