5.9 this morning. Just posted this on the wrong thread. Not posted for a few days as we lost my mother in law very suddenly and unexpectedly last week. It's knocked us all sideways, haven't even checked my bs levels as I think they wouldn't have been accurate due to the shock to the system.I'm surprised its this low today actually

6.6 this morning - rubbish for me but a lot better than yesterday and heading back towards what I would call my normal range now that I am being more careful about the diet again! I did have to use a different finger as my usual one is bandaged after a stupid slicing accident at lunch time when making mushroom soup :)
Don't you use a different finger every time? Does it make scar tissue if you use the same one? I have been using a different finger every time and a different hand every day - but never the index finger? Am I doing it wrong?

I'm sorry for your loss, Killer... It will take some time to get over the shock for all of you I imagine... your BG readings are hardly important right now anyway...

They've gone down today ;), just 5.2 :):)
Mayb I was unknowingly stressed at not being able to dry things properly I.e. without needing to iron them ... And I must wash at least 3 duvets a week so need to get them dried quickly. Loving them both apart from way timer on drier works but that's no biggy.
You were obviously stressed - so would I have been... all those wet clothes and no dryer... All good now... :)

I'll let you know later!
Bleuch.... For the love of goodness man, have a small glass of good red wine instead... If you're teetotal have cheesy almond bread with philly and ham on... :)

No !

Day29 ND 4.6 Rain stopped, overcast but not downcast today. 8km walk/run, and some satisfying weed-pulling, so easy after rain. At the halfway point, ND-wise, with HbA1c tomorrow. Almost confident.
Hope it goes well today... I'm sure it will, you've done brilliantly - all down to hard work... :)

Not in my opinion, and yes, avoid the index :)

Ratified... thank you... It's worrying when you totter along doing stuff the same way every day, then you see something new! Like using the same lancet twice! My husband said I shouldn't - ever - then other folk started saying they used the same one... that gave me food for thought too ... :)

6.8 today... I think I have a sinus infection again.... It's all the cream and cheese I reckon... my average is going to be rubbish in May... :(

Yeah.... 4.9 am after 6.4 last night, with 170g of pasta and some meatballs... it was a "test" and the result surprised me....
I'm so tempted to try it... my fasting numbers are astronomical at the moment...

Hola Susikav

I bow to your wisdom oh wise, but evil, temptress. Alas but 2 more moons must pass before the running of 26.2 miles commences in Brighton!

.......the thought of getting stuck into a large Malbec will get me over the finish line and boy do I mean LARGE!

Thanks susikav, you're right of course, bs readings are low on my list of priorities right now.
