Type one and medicines

So have a cold sore throat and tight chest. Have my levels been high due to feeling poorly. Or only had a tiny amount of soothing cough medicine and a couple of throat sweets obviously contain a lot of sugar in those items. But was else do I do??

Hi tylers73. You can get sugar free throat losenges from boots but an antiseptic throat spray works just as well. Your levels will be a bit higher as youre ill but just keep checking your bg regularly and inject as needed.
