Having diabetes for 20 years as changed me so much,been very low and also high sugars,mood swings,weight change,depression.
Been in hospital having bad stomach pains,when I was diagnosed with having 4 cancerous tumours in stomach. These were removed.my sugars have been good and I stopped my diabetes treatment, so injection and pills were given up.sugars are nearly ok but I don't feel that good. Some days are worse than ever when I'm in tears.i try and cover up when I go out.
My life seems ok but I don't like going out I'm better if I'm at home.i didn't realise how diabetes changes you,

Sounds like you are having a pretty **** time. There's a lot of positive news in your post though. I tried to private message you but for some reason I can't.. anyway if you want a moan I'm happy to listen. As a newly diagnosed type 2 I can't know all the stuff you have been through over the past 20 years but I'm hay to listen. All the best.

Welcome to the forum.
I've tagged @daisy1 to give you the newcomers welcome information.

I can sympathise and empathise, through my trials and tribulations trying to get myself a proper diagnosis of all my symptoms.
You have been through some tough times and this is the place to have a good old rant.
There is actually a long thread that posters are obliged to get whatever is troubling off their chest.

Join in the forums and discussions , I'm sure that you have some great knowledge from your experience.

HI Paul No not on facebook sorry.. tried to send you Private Message but can't seem to either. I just get an error message saying I can't send a private message to you. Do you have you privacy settings on a very high level or can anyone else help with what we're doing wrong?
 
And in answer to your question. yes coping well so far.. gave up meds after 3 weeks and control by diet LCHF. Seems to be good for me.. lost a few pounds too which was good news..
 
You have to make a number of posts before you can use the PM system @bulkbiker. This is to deter spammers who sometimes post their rubbish via PM when they join the forum. I think it is 16 but will tag @Administrator to make sure of the number.
