TYPE1. New to this

Hi am Davie am 32 years and 3 months ago my life went upside down i found out i had type 1 diabetes. I still find it hard to deal with.

3 months is no time at all in coming to terms with living with type 1, all I can say it does get easier in time. Best wishes.

Hi @Davie8808 and welcome to the forum. A diabetes diagnosis is a huge shock and it does take some time to get your head around it all. There is a lot of good advice and support on here. Have a read round the threads and ask any questions you want, there are many Type 1s who can guide you in dealing with your condition.

my advice would be to study up on what diabetes is at a cellular level. I was diagnosed when I was 17 and used a college project to learn about it. helped me when I knew the science behind it

I have been reading up on this but sometimes all i see is the negitives i hope with some time and more reading i can inderstand it more
