Pump
Hi right so since i went on the pump 2 years ago i have finally realised i have piled the weight on and need to do something about it! Especially when contemplating starting a family! I am thinking carb free will be best for losing weight and helping keeping good sugar levels - any advice would be welcomed x

A low carb diet certainly works for a lot of us and for many different reasons. With that said, you need to be willing to commit to the approach which isn't always easy.

The first two weeks are the hardest. If you can get through that, you can make it a year.

Small positive steps each day. This is not a race, it's a journey - you get marks for lasting the longest not being the quickest. Decide that you really want to do this (and you should) but don't get over excited and rush - see above.) Reduce carbs gradually.Get support from people on this site. I started my journey in Oct 15 and I look for small positive steps every single day - somewhere, not everywhere, just somewhere. Keep a diary (I use the blog on this web site - Some of the posts may be off the wall but I can read the underlying messages and gauge mood, results etc) As for the small daily steps. they soon add up - 5 months worth and counting.
