Type1 Severe stomach pain

Hi all,

I've been getting bouts of stomach pain. I didn't think much of it just put it down to hunger or motion sickness but I've just had lunch and had the worst pains ever! I was literally doubled over in pain begging myself to be sick to stop the pain! I wasn't sick on this occasion but have been previously.

I was diagnosed as T1D in August and I am using lantas/humolog.

Has anyone else suffered similar symptoms? I'm awaiting a call back from my DSN.

That doesn't sound good, you need to see your gp asap.

Please seek medical attention, it could be one of many things, but best to get it seen too asap. Good luck x

Hi. As the others have said, that must be followed up urgently by the GP and isn't a normal diabetes side-effect.
