Type1 training for a Marathon

I know I can't be having any bollus in my system so a slice of wholemeal toast and no insulin is the way to go with racked up bollus and a few units basal should kick it into touch. Next run Sunday morning (hate that trying to control dawn phenom too). Much better to run at the end of the I find, how come the races all but 3 are early starts :-/
 
Morning runs on MDI, you could try pre-basal relying on the previous evening's dose. Small snack with no bolus as you say. Test regularly every 30 min or 5k for example and adjust strategy next time if BG goes the wrong way. I'm normally happy with a slow up/down drift, but not less than 4 or more than 7 after the first test.
