Hi I'm just wondering as you can see from my graph to which I'm really happy about :) been to see doctor today and she has told me I'm not diabetic anymore but pre diabetic but I need to keep taking the tablets. She has also taken my sensors off me and told me not to test. I was given the sensor because they thought I was type 1 but turn out to be type 2. They have been a godsend to see how my body reacts to foods. I'm just a bit worried about not testing!!! What do you guys think.

Well done on your improvements!
I think that sensors or some form of testing is essential for type 2s. I subscribe to the Dexcom ONE + for 90 days at a time, which I have found to be the cheapest way of monitoring. Even after nearly 9 years of type 2 I find it reassuring and it’s like having my conscience sitting on my shoulder (well arm!) preventing me from cheating!

Great result @Dee1960

To go from the late eighties to the low forties is an achievement. I too have had several CGMs over the years, and whereas they're useful, they can become a bit addictive. Well done!

That's very true, I've even been checking a couple of times through the night. So hopefully I'll get a full night's sleep now, lol.

Once you get to a certain value, and have learnt what you can and shouldn't eat, you're better off just occasionally using one if you feel the need. I know others will disagree, but each to his or her own.
