UltraMeal Plus 360

Does anyone have any views on the usefulness of UltraMeal Plus 360? I was recommended this by a nutritionist and purchased a supply, but am concerned with the high sugar content. Any advice on this or other supplements suitable for diabetes most welcome. I am also considering whey protein. I am probably eating a deficient diet at the moment , and supplements seem an attractive option for boosting my energy level.

A good diet is always the best option, but the text mentions a Low-glycemic-index meal option, is this the one you have?

I'm too undisciplined to follow any particular meal plan - I suppose I'm wondering if this supplement will do me any good if I'm eating too mny carbs and too few calories.

I am a little confused on what you are trying to achieve.

"Too many carbs and too few calories" does not sound like a good idea at all!

Are you diabetic?

If so, I fear that eating too many carbs will be spiking your sugar levels and by adding sugary supplements you will probably be making things worse.

I agree with pavlosn. If you are diabetic you don't needed to follow any 'branded' diet or foods particularly if they are high carb. I'm afraid many (most?) nutritionists don't have clue so follow the advice on this forum. Just have a good diet which is low in carbs and enough protein and fat to keep you happy plus veg etc of course

It's not a supplement, it's a meal replacement.
The danger you'll have is you could end up simply boosting your calorie intake, effectively adding another meal into your day, which would be the opposite of what you are wanting to achieve.

You need to sit back and have a look at your lifestyle/diet, and decide on a healthy eating plan you can stick to, monitor your BG, and you'll see the improvement.
