Hi,
I am aware that your hba1c must be at a certain level to allow your diabetic team to give you the go ahead to try and conceive.
What I am trying to understand is that as the hba1c is only a 3 monthly average would it effect a baby, i.e. If bloods were not at the recommended figure but your readings were ideal from when you started trying to conceive, would this be ok, or does the blood that carries some historic higher readings have an impact?
Just trying to understand how things work in a bit more detail to make informed decisions!
Many thanks
