Odd that the first notification of 'my annual health check' came at the age of 66 and six months after diagnosis as diabetic. I was having blood tests at the hospital for my defunct thyroid, as they could not do them at the clinic - but now that I am diabetic I no longer have to make the trip to the hospital, they can somehow now find the time and personnel to do them in the clinic.
