Unexpected bloods

I also use the Libre scanner, not the app and phone. I think it is better and with the Libre software you get more detailed information. I have had 9 so far and all lasted the full 2 weeks. 8 of them read lower than my Accuchek Mobile, 1 read higher. Once you do some comparison checks you can mentally adjust the readings, remembering that the Libre runs about 15 minutes behind blood readings, so finger prick, wait 10 to 15 minutes then scan. I learnt one heck of a lot.

Waiting to see if I get on with it before dishing out for the scanner - but might well get that eventually. Have just caught the sensor on a doorjam whilst carrying the laundry basket - it didn't come out but it hurt like hell !!!!!

Lots of folk on here have done just that, and some have been unlucky in that it fell off. After I did something similar with my first one I changed where I attach it. It now goes on my under arm, well out of the way of door frames and less likely to lie on it in bed.

They are very prescriptive as to where it should go, but I don't suppose it matter that much?

I wear on the inner arm as well. It was a major annoyance on the back or side of the arm. As Bluetit1802 says , inner arm it is out of the way. I do cover mine with Tegaderm but that's because I am in the swimming pool 3 or 4 times a week. Does keep it secure though. You'll also find it easier to scan on the inner arm.
