For anyone feeling the erosion of workers rights in the workplace, including disability/medical condition rights, here's a website I've used on several occasions to voice my anger at what the Government and Employers are doing to people's lives as a knock on effect of the erosion of employee rights, working conditions and pay. The rights and benefits that my generation and the generations before me worked hard to gain for employees, our current Governments have eroded in a few short years and it's affecting ourselves, our children and our grandchildren's future.
Diabetics, amongst other people with serious medical conditions have enough problems and stress without having to worry about being treated badly at work because we have a medical condition. Discrimination can come from employers and also from other colleagues. If we don't voice and vent our opinions and anger, we don't get anywhere.
