Hi there,
I am a second year clinical science student and we are currently studying diabetes and metabolism. Part of the project is to change the common (mis)perception of diabetes.
The reason I am posting is because I would appreciate if people would let me know what everyday myths they have had to face in living with diabetes. For instance, a common one, is that many people think that diabetes per se (not just some cases of type 2) are caused by sugar.
