Hi all good morning
I was just wondering if anyone has experienced these symptoms. I feel really unstable and hen walking and a numb left side of my face. I'm going to ring my G P when they open see if can get an appointment. The unstable feeling could be my blood pressure being a little too low as for the numbness in my face I've no idea

Let us know how you get on?

Contacting the doc is the best idea. And if your symptoms were sudden onset, then maybe a trip to A&E?
I would want a professional assessment immediately, in your circumstances.

Good luck!

I rang NHS direct earlier and a nurse there said could possibly be something called bells palsy???? It is also more common in diabetics and to do with the facial nerves. I'm in with my GP at 11:20 so will update you when I've been.
Thank you for your reply xx

I have a friend who developed Bell's Palsy.
He did not enjoy the experience, and had to have time off work, and use eye-drops - but he has made a full recovery.

Good luck with your appt.

If you I am pleased to hear that you are going to you GP. The unsteadiness you feel may well be to do with your condition but it could also be due to an ear or nerve problem. I had an acoustic neuroma and balance/unsteadiness , along with tinnitus were my main symptoms. Had surgery and am one left with facial palsy as it was also attached to my facial nerve

I feel generally well in myself and have carried on as normal at work the past 2 days (Monday, Tuesday) but that has proven a bit tricky with my balance so not gone in today. I work within a nursery class in my local primary school so being on my feet all day gas proven a bit tricky and avoiding those toys on the floor. Steps have also been a problem walking up and down them.just hoping to get some answers.

Just got back from doctors and a quick update. They think just one of those unexplained viruses in other words they haven't got a clue. Just if it doesn't clear up or gets worse to go back. At least I now know it's nothing serious.

Thanks for letting us know!
And hope it is a virus that clears up soon.
- but if it doesn't, please do go back and push for answers.
