My average morning rate is around 5.8 after breakfast and 4.5-5.3 upon waking. I take insulin (novorapid) with each meal. I haven’t had a high reading in around 6weeks. The other day I took my sugar readings at 7.58 and it was 8 , this was very unusual for me as I eat the exact same everyday and take the same amount of insulin unless my readings at first are high. This was a usual day.
However at 08.33 I redone my blood sugars as it was weighing on my mind. They read 5.0 .....
can sugars drop that quick without my taking anything in hours to drop them? Or was it a faulty reading.
