out of curiosity i testede my blood sugar levels and it is 13.8 is this usualplease

No-one can say whether it is unusual or not. It all depends how long before you tested that you last ate/drank anything. One random test means nothing. It certainly isn't a good reading.
 
I would see your Dr, home meters aren't accurate enough and meds and stuff can skew the result, if accurate, over 11 is diabetic with GTT and over 7 of a morning fasting
 
It's a high reading but there can be many reasons for that, from doing it wrongly to having recently eaten something very sugary.

I scared myself witless in the early days when I got a reading 'out of scale' ie, above 33.0!

I hadn't washed my hands.
