soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I have just got back from the hospital and fed my poor dogs.I have eaten an apple and soon will go clean out the cats' litter tray. then some more salad and meat.( been living on that and a couple of low carb wraps) Will go back to the hospital this evening, but will use the car.Went by bus this afternoon. Got a list of stuff DH wants. Carried books in my back pack a mile from the town centre..
Tomorrow will be a bit of a Marathon. I must bake a loaf in the morning and walk the dogs, then eye exam in the afternoon. can't use the car, because won't be able to drive back. Will go most of the way by bus and walk the last mile. DD will try to pick me up, but she's pressed for time too.
I over slept a bit this morning. Got up about 8:30. (anyone surprised?)
DH at last has had foot properly examined by podiatrist. A piece of thorn was extracted. He's been in hospital since Monday! Temperature and blood sugar coming down. They are going to do an MRI to look for osteomyelitis.

No rest this weekend. Granddaughter's first birthday party on Saturday. 20 babies and parents invited. Still I didn't have to prepare anything. Just wrap a pressie.

I don't know how you do it hana. You must have a marvelous constitution. Don't forget to take care of yourself.

Don't lose your concentration!

Glad to see they have (finally) found the cause. Last year I spiked one of my fingers while gardening and got a piece of thorn embedded. It rapidly swelled to about twice normal finger size and became very painful. Fortunately I had some fucidin ointment which killed the infection and when the swelling had gone down the thorn had come back near enough to the surface to be extracted with forceps.
