The purpose of this thread is to inform all members that the Forum will be rebooted some time this weekend. During that process, the forum will be unavailable.

As you would expect, the forum will be restarted as quickly as possible, but please bear with us whilst we undertake this necessary process.

For those who have experienced slower than usual response times today, and/or yesterday, it is hoped the reboot will re-establish normal speeds.

Thanks in anticipation.

Edited to update the reboot date.

Thanks for letting us know.. and hope all goes smoothly.. oddly I haven't noticed any slowing of the forum today...it must be on its best behaviour...

Thanks .. FWIW, I have found it almost impossible to get aboard this afternoon / evening

Hmmm! I was hoping we were getting a change of server.

There are to many times outs with the one we have at present.

Not to worry, I'll be asleep hopefully!

Apologies folks. The planned work last night could not take place. It has been rescheduled for sometime over the weekend. At this stage, I am unable to be more specific than that.

Should the forum go down for a period, please be patient.

I will update the thread again where possible.

Can you send me a Home Help, I won't be able to cope.

Aaaaaw Squire. I've just had an update to let me know the techies expect the forum will be down under 30 minutes. Perhaps that just offers up time to make a cup of tea and a comfort break.
