Urgent. Can anybody help?

Good morning.

Hoping someone can help me. I’ve evidently had a massive bout of brain fog yesterday and for the first time in 15 years of having type 1 I’ve forgotten to take my background. I’m on Tresiba, 14.5 units and I take it at 6 pm.

I woke up unusually high and was trying to work out why so checked my digital pen to rule everything out.

I’ve checked for ketones and I’m fine. I’ve put in some bolus, and I’ve phoned my hospital team but they are phoning me back.

In the meantime can anyone help with what to do?

Online suggests taking half the dose but I don’t know.

can't say for sure but I did that once with Trijeo half then half in evening
nothing bad happened. Long lasting can take hours to get in your system
