I test 10-12 times daily. I test any time and any place I need to. One irritant I have is what to do with used test strips and excess blood on my fingertip. I have been thinking of making a simple tool to capture the used strips and to absorb the excess blood. I envision this to be a way to make the process more private and tidy. Something I can carry with me. Does anyone else have an issue with this or is it just me?

Put your finger in your mouth & the used test strip in the bin = problem solved! Or you know, if youre squeamish, delicately dab your finger with a tissue & hoard your used strips in with you metre until the end of the day until you can decant them into the bin, like the worlds worst confetti.

Yeah, no I don't have that issue. But it's probably not just you. There are loads of diabetes products around - often distributing/advertising via Pinterest/Facebook - it's possible this product already exists so have a little search to check whether it's out there already.
