What about gram flour? Is that ok for diabetics? Seen recipe for chickpea flatbread
Hi
"Gram flour" seems to be the on the search when cross referenced with IBS? So I can understand the direction.
Chickpea flatbread seems to crop up as a healthy option on the GI index & even touted as "healthy for diabetics" on one site I spotted was even so bold as to say it could prevent diabetes..
What I have notice crop up in all of this (someone shot me if I'm out.?) there are nearly 60gs of carb per 100gram, of which 9 or 10 is sugar...? (From memory of the blurb read on the subject. Most of which was overshadowed by the gushing life changing properties claiming it as some sort of "superfood"?)
It's all pending on your personal tolerance level with carbs at the end of the day & the "suspended belief" this may help remedy any high BGs?
Try it out using a meter.. I'm not sure what diabetes medication you're prescribed? (If any.)
