Using Symlin

I just started using Symlin and although I take 5-10 minutes before eating and dose Novlog 1/2 hour after eating, I am experiencing sticky highs all day long which don't respond to correction. Instead during the night when sleeping, I have multiple hypos sometimes 6-8 hours after my last dose of Novlog. Initially, I reduced my Novolog and Tresiba doses by 25% but that made the daytime highs worse. Does anyone have experience with using this drug? I like it because it had made me much less hungry and seems to be helpful in weight loss (I've gained 30 pounds over the last year-completely out of control.)
