hi I have a urine infection caused by as it turned out a kidney stone I'm on ciprofloxin for 10 days my blood glucose is 12.1 is this because I'm unwell my latest hba1c was 7.6
 
having an infection does tend to raise blood sugars.

and welcome to the forum too !!! :)
 
just make sure to drink plenty of water and keep testing , hopefully your BG's will lower after the antibiotics kick in !!
 
Hi think I'm going to have to ride the storm till blood glucose levels drop and antibiotics finish .i feel okay though no thirst or any other symptoms
