Thought I'd try posting here too to see if I got any replies. I am a type 1 diabetic and recently gave birth to a beautiful little boy who they think had VACTERL syndrome. I am heartbroken that he died and can't help but blame myself and my diabetes for his death. I just wanted to hear from any other diabetic mums out there who have maybe been in the same situation. Thanks

Am sooooo sorry for your loss of your beautiful little boy . ((((hug))))
My heart goes out to you - you will need loads of support and will feel all over the place.
Do try NOT to self blame yourself with this - I know you will be wondering about 'everything'
and remembering all that happened too .

After reading your post - have thought about getting 'more' replies and support for you.
To achieve this, this thread would be better relocated in the GESTATIONAL/DIABETES .
Here, other diabetic mums there - can possibly help and support you more ...
[noticed you posted already in pregnancy]

So hope you dont mind - have moved this there for you :)
