Vague Symptoms?

Hi all,

I don't know whether I have a blood sugar problem or not as my symptoms are (I think) rather vague. My main symptom seems to be light-headedness, which has become more or less permanent over the past few days. Also I feel rather queasy a lot of the time and my eyes feel heavy, like my eyeballs are going at a slower pace to the rest of me! Weird I know but I have no better description although my eyesight is okay. I go to the toilet quite often in the night, sometimes as much as five times although I don't often feel thirsty and probably do not drink as much fluids as I should. I tend to feel better as soon as I start eating but after about an hour the symptoms return, can anyone shed any light on this? As I type this I am getting peckish and I am feeling dizzy yet gain. I eat regularly but this no longer seems to help. Any ideas? Sorry if I've poted in the wrong section. I'm also rather head-achy, I actually feel like I have a permanent hang-over.

Thanks.

Hi Pickle.
Welcome to the forum. You don't say if you are a Diabetic or not ?

Symptoms such as you describe could be down to a multitude of things, many of which are not Diabetes related.

We cannot diagnose on here so my advice to you is see your GP asap and get this all checked out.

I could tell you what it MIGHT be but that would be very wrong of me. See your GP.

Hi, he took a urine sample (after I nearly passed out in the waiting room) and there was blood in it but no sugar so he thinks it may be a urinary infection. I don't have much faith in my doctor though so I'm a little worried.
