So about 15 years ago on Valentine's Day, David took me out for a candle lit romantic meal, the place was fully booked with loved up couples.
for starter I ordered a Waldorf salad, 3rd mouthful I chocked on a piece of walnut, contrary to belief, you don't point and faff about, you try to cough and hold your throat whilst slowly dying. Thankfully Dave looked up into my watery eyes realised what was happening, quickly threw his chair back came round and thumped me on my back, walnut came flying out I was alive.
All the loved up couples only saw a man kick his chair away and thump his wife, it was awkward having to tell a whole restaurant the true story.
He saved my life.
Today is Valentines and the anniversary of being saved, today Dave presented me with a small fancy box, excited I thought omd he had bought me jewellery, nope it was a walnut.
