A super tasty looking recipe from DCUK for Peanut Butter Fudge popped on on my Facebook today. One of the ingredients is Vanilla almond milk. I've never used almond milk in any form, but a look at the Tesco on-line site shows a host of different varieties but none that say vanilla almond milk.
Does it exist or could I get away with plain almond milk and add vanilla essence?

I can get unsweetened vanilla almond milk but it makes my tummy gurgle. It’s tasty but no so much in coffee. Yuk.

And yes, I’m sure almond milk with vanilla essence would be just fine

Quick answer: yes.

I'd go with plain almond milk and add the vanilla since I already own those ingredients. Same applies for the vanilla stevia. IMO it's just a short cut and probably money saving option if you're having to buy everything from scratch.

I think I may have to add some smooth peanut butter to this week's shopping list. :hungry:

ETA I found some: Meridian make an unadulterated peanut butter withch is very close to actual quantity needed, but you do need to be aware, and I quote:
"Allergen Information

Allergens can be found in the ingredients list

Contains Peanuts" :wideyed:
