Hello, I'm new to the Libre Freestyle, I've had it for 11 days so far and the difference between the readings is concerning me, the reading on the app was 6.2, but I felt reqlly shakey like a Hypo, so I tested the old fashioned way finger prick, reading was 2.9mmol, so yes, I was in Hypo mode, treated the Hypo and finger prick said 5.6 so all was well, this has happened three times in 11 days, Ive been on Toujeo and Trurapi since Nov 2024, and started Mounjaro a week ago, have adjusted my insulin doses to reflect the taking Mounjaro, but my point is what's the point of having the Libre if it's telling me my blood sugar is ok,if I'm in a hypo, anyone else have this issue?

Morning Buffy123

I am Libre 2+ user and have had quite a few faulty sensors. I get mine on prescription.

I would make contact with Abbott and they should supply you with a replacement sensor. They may ask you to return the sensor so they can review it. They will provide you a kit to return the sensor free of charge.

Good luck

needles, bloods sampling, infact most medical stuff which usually result in panic/anxienty attacks :(
Fairly frequently having the opposite issue libre especially when new sensor reads very low. Technology is great when it works haven't had issue getting replacement sensors for ones that appear to be faulty just wish abbots used royal mail instead of courier company which decides as 'highlands and Islands' can take anywhere between 3 and 7 days to get it and the courier won't leave at a 'safe location' nor at a neighbour house. Pain in the butt and costly having to drive 90+ miles to the nearest depot
