VAT from Amazon

Has anyone had experience of purchasing their test strips/lancets from Amazon and how they reclaimed VAT.
At present I use Boots online for Acciuchek cassettes and lancets and it’s simple and a good offer

I get SD CodeFree from Amazon, I declare I am diabetic during the purchase, that sorts the VAT.

Before my one touch meter was discontinued, I purchased some spare strips via Amazon. The price was good but the seller said they had already deducted vat so I didnt need to reclaim - price was still competative but nt as good as it first appeared
