Taken on board your suggestions to add V********s to my meals so just want to know what’s suitable and what’s the recommended portions for them? Knob of butter on the top?

Please don’t make me say that word again

It seems it helps if you can cook. I am useless but I am learning fast. There’s been some great suggestions on cauliflower rice for example.

They're optional not essential..the one's that grow above ground are best.

I made pizza last night from riced cauliflower, vaguely following this
, it was revolting! I can't seem to get the knack of making cauliflower not taste like cauliflower.
Maybe not enough cheese.
Check out fathead dough for pizza bases.

yes I know it has almond flour (or ground almonds) but you really can't taste it.... egg is optional miss it out if you like a crunchier base. I've never put the vinegar in either..

We eat Spud Lite lower carb potatoes.

Isn’t that a bit like a low carb Mars bar or do they do something to them to lower the carbs?
I think they are a particular variety that has been developed to be low carb but as they seem to be only available in Australia not much use to most of us.

Seek and your questions will be answered. :D

You will have no show of getting them either after Brexit. :meh:
We will. All these massive trade deals are simply going to be winging in to the UK from 29th March. :D

We never had spuds at all did we until Sir Walter Raleigh brought some back. So I guess we might end up with them over here eventually?

I see. Great as it’s hard giving up spuds. So there is hope for low carb chips yet....
