Low carbers, I need your help please!
This is what I've had for dinner, would you think I need a bolus for this? I normally wouldn't count any of this when calculating a bolus dose, but now I'm second guessing myself because it feels so wrong to eat and not have insulin!. I will obviously need to do a lot of reading if I go long term low-carb, but for now I would really appreciate some advice
. The portion sizes weren't big, I shared with my husband.
- Aubergine in a red Thai curry sauce
- Tofu and mushrooms in Manchurian sauce (I believe this is soy-sauce based)
- A few spoonfuls of seaweed (cabbage). Sometimes this has a sprinkling of sugar on it but it would be a couple of grams at the very most. It didn't taste sweet.
I'm guessing the sauces might have had a little bit of sugar in them as well? Takeaway wasn't the best choice for my first day on a pump, in hindsight
