- Acceptance of health treatment claims that are not adequately supported by evidence. I dislike it when people sell ineffective and even harmful alternative health products to exploit the desperation of people with chronic illness.
I've had cellulitis on my shin and it was very serious. Any infection on the lower legs and feet is a risk for diabetics, and the advice to stay off your feet is important. Elevating your legs will help the circulation carry away the waste products, and should stop the infection getting worse. If it starts to get worse, I would start getting off my feet.
