Hi
I have been Diabetic since I was 2 years old, now being 20 I've had it for 18 years. I have always had good blood sugars (thanks to my mum who is also Diabetic). Recently however (the past week) I've began to panic, my blood sugars are all over the place and it's really worrying me. I can't seem to get my blood sugar above 2.5 a lot of the time and that's really not good! Yesterday my blood sugar went for 33 (I'd stopped taking insulin for the first few hours of the day in the hopes that I'd perhaps hit a lump in my arm) down to 2.1 in just 40 minutes. Now I have no idea what is happening with me. I've never experienced this nor has my mother and it' s freaking me out, the hospital clinic I attend and the doctors surgery are both closed for the weekend so I have no way of getting to them. This is truly scaring me, at the time of this post my blood is currently 3.2...and I've eaten a Mars Bar and a sandwich and half a bottle of Lucozade to try and get it up but it doesn't seem to be moving!
I would love any help from anyone!
Thanks,
Ross.
