Very low carb for 10 years

After reading Dr Bernstein’s’ Diabetic Solution’ I started following it 10 years ago (diagnosed T1 10.3 years ago). Not looked back. It works. My HbA1c over these 10 years have never been over 5.7% (38). My health has been good. My gums better than they were 20 years ago. If you haven’t read it and would like to achieve normal blood sugars I recommend it. Kindle and hard back.
 
Like much research, Dr B does not consider women and their hormones. His approach to dealing with it is that all women with diabetes should take the pill. I guess that's one way of eradicating diabetes if it is entirely genetic.
