Very sad poor guy:(

Oh no, how sad.

I over dosed on Novorapid once, it was accidentally and very easily done. Luckily I no longer use insulin but I do wonder how many people aren't as lucky as I was.

Terribly sad story.i overdosed once, thought I'd injected my long lasting insulin but had somehow put a novo rapid cartridge in the pen that I only use for the long lasting insulin.Luckily I noticed as I was withdrawing the needle,26 units of novorapid so went into panic mode!Had to stay up all night and gorge on glucose tablets while testing bs every 20 minutes. Not a good experience.

That's what I did - thought I was injecting Lantus and have myself a massive dose of Novorapid. I drank sugar dissolved in to water and, like you, tested every 20 minutes. Very scary.

My hubby jabbed novo instead of lantus once in the early days - such a panic and so scary
