Hi, as from today my GP has now prescribed 25mg vipidia alongside my 80mg gliclazide 4 times daily (2 morning and 2 evening meal) and also 45mg once daily pioglitazone. Has anyone ever had any experience with vipidia I know alongside gliclazide can cause hypos so will have meter strips and hypo kit with me but is thee anything else to be aware of anyone experience taking them? Thanks. Alongside my angina medication ( 2 different types) BP meds (again 2 different types) statins and thyroid medication feel like I'm constantly rattling lol

I am not on this drug but the warnings include a possible need for a decrease in your gliclazide to avoid hypos.

Thank you @Osidge I read this also. Funny you should also say this I woke up around 4 this morning feeling unwell checked my bloods and they were 2.9. I shall see how I go over the weekend and if it continues I shall nip and see my GP. Thank k you for your reply

You're welcome. We need both knowledge and experience to manage our diabetes. Feel free to ask when you next have need.

Regards

Doug
