If you have a B&M store near you they also do coconut oil I think they do 2 one is organic and one is a bit cheaper even than Aldi which is fine if you only use it for cooking. I know some people actually eat it by the spoonful or put it in coffee but I think you need a better quality one for that

Will be going to Aldi today and will buy some at £3 a jar, went into Sainsburys last week £6 a jar

Wow, that's interesting. I'm over 10,000 miles away here in Aus and had the exact same feeling delight last week when I noticed our local Aldi has virgin coconut oil at about half the price of the other places I've been getting it. :D

Make sure the b&m stuff is raw/virgin x

Why not just buy linseed and mill it yourself? Even cheaper x

I found low carb bread at my local Aldi next to the Burgen soy- linseed. Very impressed as 6.3 carbs from memory for 2 slices. Its currently in the freezer and I cant be bothered to go and look.
It was $4.99 for a small loaf. I Plan on having French toast with it with raspberry puree and yoghurt for breakfast one morning.

Couldnt help myself had to go and look!

Made by Kornig and its 4.6g for 2 slices.
So any other Aussies go and check out your local Aldi

Ooh you lucky thing! That sounds lush!

****, only seems to be available in Australia.
I did find something similar carb content bread at reduced price in Sainsbury's, but it tasted of cardboard due to very high oat bran content. We ended up throwing it out. We still prefer Vogel's Soya and Linseed, it's about 14g per slice, but I'd rather have one slice of that than 2 of the cardboard alternative

Have you tried a lidl protein roll? So good!
