Hello!
Recent studies have shown that Visceral fat can be gained by exposure to chemicals in food wrappings, carpet backings, car upholstery, etc. There are other possible causes too, such as Arsenic in the drinking water, vehicular exhausts, fluoride in the drinking water, Mercury in tooth fillings, etc.
Each, or all of these seperately, or together can, apparently cause the body to accumulate visceral fat and trigger diabetes : the body, tying to protect it's self by bunging the toxins into fat to prevent them causing harm, prevents the organs from functioning by building up the fat around them...
Exercise and diet have little effect on this fat accumulation.
A problem arrises when, forcing this resistant fat off, by the only means possible, starvation, as in the Newcastle Diet, the toxins contained therein are freed to wreak havoc...
After repeated telling from my GP that I was 'Clinically Obese', I forced off 30 lbs of fat : the result was that I now walk with two sticks : Osteo Arthritis claimed one of my hip joints...
Currently, I only eat one small meal per day, this has me bordering on further weight/fat loss : this is provoking a nasty psoriasis attack... ( life is such fun! )
I am now looking at ways to detox whilst loosing fat : there seem to be three approaches and I am contemplating trying all, at the same time!
Chelation, is one, removing heavy metals : Colonics is another, removing accumulated, impacted waste from the gut : Bentonite Clay or Activated Charcoal are the third way to remove toxins before they can poison the system...
Recently, I have read of a fourth possible aid to reversal, this is Licorice Flavenoid Oil. It is possible that this, on it's own, can reduce Visceral Fat without provoking a toxic reaction.
If anyone on the site has any information on this, I'd be grateful to learn about it : as soon as pension pennies allow, I will be going ahead any way...
