Does anyone has any experience with Visceral Fat Removal to help with Insulin Resistant? If so, can you recommend an experienced surgeon for this procedure?

Search for the 'Newcastle Diet' in the forum search facility.

Hi. Before even considering a surgeon do review your diet. It is essential to keep the carbs down to minimise or remove visceral fat. You may need to reduce the carbs enough to go into ketosis i.e. fat burning to initially get the weight and fat down. I suspect it isn't even feasible for a surgeon to safely remove much visceral fat?

And in any case, even if you could find a surgeon willing to undertake such a procedure then without a change of diet and exercise levels then the problems would merely return at some point in the future. It's far better to fix the problem than to treat the symptoms.

I'd echo daibell. Moving to a low carb diet and introducing weight training has seen me lose around 25mm off my visceral skin fold test in 8 weeks. Well worth the time investment.
